Sustainable Procurement and Delivery
We are committed to playing our part in a sustainable future for all. This begins by selecting product manufacturers who can demonstrate the economic and social impact of their operations.
We require our Delivery Centres to focus on controlling their carbon footprint, through the efficient deployment of local people, travelling locally, with a first-time fix approach. This is only achievable by a robust commitment to engineering training, to equip staff with the knowledge and experience required to achieve a consistently high level of performance.
At the heart of UKSI are our local Delivery Centres. Local people based close to the point of delivery, to provide a first-class service to our clients. All our stakeholders can be reassured that our approach and our actions form part of our overall goal to protect life and property, the environment and our futures.
UKSI collaboration
We expect our suppliers to work collaboratively with our Delivery Centres, to be supportive of our approach to continually improve performance through efficient supply of products, reducing transportation costs and bulking deliveries where possible throughout the delivery chain.
Through innovative thinking and the employment of best practices, we recognise that improving our procurement performance is an ongoing process, and that our suppliers are important partners in our aim to achieve such standards.
UKSI pride
We pride ourselves in providing safe, reliable and efficient fire safety and security systems, for the protection of people, buildings and spaces.
Whether a task involves the servicing and aftercare of a building wide fire detection system, or the installation of an individual access control reader or CCTV camera, one can rely on UKSI qualified and accredited staff from our Approved Delivery Centres to provide considered, well-balanced open protocol designs.
Facilities Managers can be comforted by our experience, our attention to detail and a pool of skills across the country unmatched by many.
Working alongside colleagues in electrical services, health and safety and facilities and workspace management, UKSI are ideally placed to service existing and refurbished buildings 24/7.
